Hello and welcome to Mister Quill's. My name is Aaron C. Baker.
I see the world with extraordinary clarity. Born with Autism and ADHD, I remember every moment of my life in vivid detail, each sight, scent, sound, and emotion preserved like a living archive.
From childhood onward, I have captured my experiences through art and writing. With a handmade leather journal, dip ink, and a quill pen, I began recording memories from birth to the present: golden nursery light, the scent of rain on warm pavement, the chaos of school days, and the emotional whirlwind of adolescence.
Adulthood brought deeper reflections, pride, loss, quiet joy, all rendered with honesty and sensitivity. Today, I continue to write, paint, draw, craft leatherwork, and create teddy bears in my studio, transforming my lifelong memories into stories and illustrations that celebrate the beauty of being different.
Every day is a new page for me, a fresh moment to preserve, and an invitation for readers to see the world through my eyes.
I am now a published author of three books within the Mister Quill’s Bookstore Café collection, written for readers of all ages. My work blends cozy fantasy, magical adventure, and inspirational reflection, drawing on conversations with my three daughters.
• The Curious Tale of Mister Quill’s Bookstore Café, the flagship story of the series, introduces Mister Quill, his enchanting bookstore café, and the magical world that unfolds within it.
• The Forgotten Chapters, Book 2 of the collection of a total of 50 interconnected short stories, 25 in each book, that gradually reveal a larger, unified narrative. Each tale was inspired by magical creatures and adventures my daughters suggested. I wrote them as bedtime stories.
• Mister Quill’s Journal, A companion volume of 55 inspirational reflections written as journal entries from Mister Quill himself. Each entry is dated in the future, allowing readers who own the book before June 28, 2027 to experience each message on the Monday it “occurs.”
